Kelowna has come a long way in the last few years. The opening of venues like Prospera Place, the new Kelowna Art Gallery and Kelowna Library, in close proximity, have added a focal point to the local Arts and Entertainment scene. In addition, several festivals, including four wine festivals: the Spring Wine Festival, Summer Wine Festival, the Fall Wine Festival, and the Winter/Icewine Festival. Other include the Blues Fest, Kelowna Kiwanis Musical Festival, Folk Festival, Mardi Gras Street Festival,Dragon Boat Festival, and more. Major events are held in Prospera Place, including concerts, plays and Kelowna Rockets hockey. The Kelowna Art Gallery has brought a number of interesting exhibits to Kelowna. Another big new entertainment venue is the Lake City Casino, located in close proximity to Prospera Place and the Kelowna Art Gallery, so you can attend a concert or hockey game, enjoy an art exhibit, and attempt to break the bank, all within a one block walk.

Prospera Place

Prospera Place has brought a new state-of-the-art facility for entertainment, sports, culture, business and community activities to Kelowna. With 6500 seats, including 1000 Club Seats for sporting events and up to 8000 seats for concerts and other events Prospera Place has enabled Kelowna residents to attend world-class events and enjoy their own Kelowna Rockets hockey team in one of the best facilities of its type.

The varied entertainment events at Prospera Place truly give an opportunity for everyone to find something that meets their tastes.
